The Office of Organizational Equity, Inclusion and Culture works to support AFSC’s internal culture and external practices in becoming more equitable, inclusive, and in alignment with AFSC’s commitment to anti-oppression principles.
AFSC’s testimony of Community, commitment to respect the equality, worth and dignity of all people, and new Strategic Plan all call on us to build an inclusive, cohesive, accountable and just AFSC. In recognizing that all people hold a spark of the Divine and to bring our organizational life into harmony with the vision we urge ourselves and others to achieve, the Office’s work supports AFSC’s teams and communities worldwide.
The Office recently completed a comprehensive review of AFSC from a diversity, equity, inclusion and cultural wellness perspective, which will inform future initiatives and efforts to support AFSC’s further alignment with its values.
